KINDRED HEALTHCARE CANCELS PRESENTATION AT UBS GLOBAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES CONFERENCE DUE TO SNOWSTORM
Louisville, KY (February 13, 2006) – Kindred Healthcare, Inc. (the “Company”) (NYSE: KND) today announced that it has canceled its scheduled presentation at the UBS Global Healthcare Services Conference in New York City on Monday, February 13, 2006, because of the snowstorm.
Paul J. Diaz, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, and Richard A. Lechleiter, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, had been scheduled to make a presentation regarding the Company at 9 a.m. Eastern Time. They were unable to travel to New York because of the weather conditions.
Kindred Healthcare, Inc. through its subsidiaries operates hospitals, nursing centers, institutional pharmacies and a contract rehabilitation services business across the United States.
