David Windhorst

David Windhorst is Vice President of Financial Systems Development for Kindred Healthcare, Inc. Since joining Kindred in 1988, David has held several positions in the company’s finance area, including hospital accounting, corporate accounting and financial reporting.

He has been instrumental in implementing innovative uses of technology to improve automation and efficiency. His department is currently responsible for developing and managing Kindred’s financial systems, which include general accounting, patient accounting, human resources and payroll systems.

Before joining Kindred, David worked in public accounting for six years. He is a certified public accountant and a 1981 graduate of Bellarmine College in Louisville, KY.
