Rick Chapman

Rick Chapman is currently Chief Administrative and Chief Information Officer of Kindred Healthcare, Inc. He has been Kindred’s CIO since October 1997. Kindred’s I/S group has been in the InformationWeek 500 for the past 3 years and was a finalist in the Gartner CIO Choice Award in 2002. Rick has been the Chairman of Greater Louisville Inc.’s CIO Roundtable since 2000.

He was previously Senior Vice President of Information Systems and CIO for Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corporation, where he was named one of the top ten CIOs in the country by PC Week. The Columbia/HCA I/S organization was named the top I/S group in the country by Information Week in 1997.

Prior to that Rick was Vice President of Information Systems for Galen Health Care and Humana, Inc.
